Chicken of the Woods is a highly-prized and unique gourmet mushroom sought after for its strong chicken flavor and meaty texture. It is commonly used by vegetarians and vegans as a chicken substitute in many dishes making it a perfect main entrée or side dish. Chicken of the Woods grows in the Northern United States and currently cannot be grown with indoor farming methods. As such, supplies can be limited so grab these up quickly! Our current stock was wild-harvested in the fall of 2020, cleaned, and dried. Instructions for rehydrating are included on the packaging.
